Before anyone wanna ask me about my NTU interview, I wanna say something:

I TOTALLY SCREWED UP THE INTERVIEW!!!!!

It's NOT as easy and simple as what others told me ok?

I think they purposedly wanna "tekan" me siax...

So what's the BIG deal about being a science student all the while and scoring all As?

What's wrong with me wanting to enter business course?

Maybe because I achieved good academic science grades.. so probably they were trying to test how interested I am into getting into this new field..

But hopefully this is the case.. if they were trying to be funny with me.. then... nvm... not going to say anymore..

Ya.. the above is what I felt after I came out of the meeting room... it's totally horrible... just feel so screwed up... @.@

Ok.. back to the interview.. they asked me lots of very weird qtns..

*i think i have got the sequence of the qtns mixed up.. i cant rmb which qtn came 1st.. so just bear with the very confusing stuff written below*

The most basic is none other than "why business?".. of course I babbled about the potential and area of development.. then mentioning about being researcher will be a rather boring job... then somehow... the male interviewer asked "so means business will be less boring to you?"

WTH.. nvm... not going to argue with him for this... just crap through it..

Then... followed by other random stuff like i wanna go into banking and finance... then i told them i did a little readup on banking from wikipedia... then the female interviewer asked me about the top few banks in the world... and stuff like that...

AND!!!!!!!!!!!! The 2 most infuriating thing of the whole interview...

Firstly.. the male interviewer asked "then do you know how does bank earn money?".. I answered "No. But I am willing to learn how does bank earn $$$.."

Guess what he replied "You dont even know how banks earn money and yet you wanna go into banking course!?!?" I was stunned.. I just replied him that i am willing to learn... Gosh.. does he ever listen? =.=

Secondly.. i forgot what did I said before this.. but I rmb the male interviewer said "I think there is a problem with you! You have a tendency to go where the pastures are greener."

Then I was once again totally stunned... I dont mind the 2nd sentence since it's really the case.. just wanna get a job that can earn big bucks... nothing wrong right?

But the 1st sentence is the one that totally caught me off guard.. Even if you wanna say that I have some problems... How can you just say "I think there is a problem with you!"

Argh... pissed... I almost told he knew about my mental instablity... =.=

Well... then they also asked have I spoke to anyone with business background before I picked this course.. I replied my daddy lorx.. He's an accountant and he advised me to enter banking industry sincee private bankers now are in demand... (i think this is the part where the greener pastures talk came in..hahah!!!)

On top of this... the female interviewer asked "so what type of personality you think that can serve the banking industry?".. so ya... just crap.. saying that I have to be analytical... need to analyse the financial status.. and being far-sighted about certain policies etc... crap larx..

Then back to about why me dont wanna continue science degree again.. they asked why did I chose to take triple science for A levels after my Os.. I replied "How do you expect some 16-year-old to think of her future 20-30 years down the road? Obviously you have to continue studying what you are studying!"

Thus... the female interviewer added one more qtn.. "So means that by choosing business.. you are taking a very big step out in life.." Then something else that she said which I cant really rmb..

I just replied her.. "Well, you got to try.. if you dont try.. you wont know anything.. and that many pple with science degrees may not end up in science field and they went into other fields.. the most basic thing is to get a degree..." then more babbling more.. crapping... =.=

Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!! Ok.. I admit I am really talking crap throughout the whole interview..

The duration is 20mins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's double the duration that they told me!!! *faints*

But.. anyway.. it's over.. so jsut have to wait for letter lorx... either admission letter or rejection letter.. whatever...

Anway.. haix... dont make me repeat the whole story again.. haix... screwed up.. really screwed... *emo at one corner*
