2008 北京奥运会结束了。

北京！北京！我爱北京！奥运圣火点燃人心！

Here's my reflection fror the past 2 weeks of intensive sporting events:

The opening ceremony was done very beautifully! Totally reflected the Chinese culture with the first scene of golden drummers!

And the lighting of the Olympic flame was very interesting, whereby the runner ran along the side of the roof. OMG.

Michael Phelps wass whoopy fabulous!! 8 GOLD MEDALS IN ONE OLYMPIC! And smashed 7 world records!! =)

Usain Bolt is now the fastest man on Earth!! 9.69s for 100m and 19.30s for 200m! As well as breaking the record for 4x100 relay! TRIPLE GOLD!! XD

Pity I missed out the 3m diving matches. They are shown when I was in school. I wanna see Guo Jingjing in action! Heard she's a hot babe. =P

Gymnastics is LOVE!! Individual, all rounder, group!! The teams are awesome!! Congrats to the winners!!

Not to forget rymthmic gymnastics, I was amazed by the performance they put up. Especially Russia and China! High level of skills and coordination! Wonderful!

Another memorable sports was water ballad! Simply lovely watery display by the Chinese team! I had a deep impression on 水上莲花！^^

The best thing about this 2008 Beijing Olympics was that SINGAPORE GOT A SILVER MEDAL!! =D

Yup, I believe this is one of the joyous moments of my life! Sitting in front of the tv with my family and cheering on the Singapore team, especially against South Korea. The points were so close!

Of cux, the closing ceremony wass great! All athletics seemed to be so relaxed and happy when they entered the grounds. All waving their mini-flags and throwing kisses at the camera.

I simply adored the 'Tower of Memories'!! Splendid performance when they air-lifted the banners, revealling the Beijing logo for Olympic.

AND SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS!! China seems to have an unlimited budget for the fireworks! =D

Overall, I personally feels that the Beijing Olympics was a great success. I had never ever enjoy Olympics before.

Probably because the event was hosted by China, I feel more closer to her than to other countries. ^^

I ran out of words to describe the event. LOL.

It's not the first time anymore.
You promise 'I wont be late'.
But when did it even happen?
Yes, probably the first few times after making that promise.
After that, it's always 'i wont be late' and it nv happen.

All I want is when I arrive, I will see you there waiting for me.
I can just go up and greet u and give u a hug.
But not even once things are like that.
And when u know u are late, u nv even msg me saying ur late.
Just because ur always late, so u think I wont mind at all?

I am a person who is very very particular about punctuality.
I am not that type who can tolerate lateness without any reasonable reason.
I sincerely hope that at least a msg to say u will be late.
This is such a common knowledge for everyone I know.
At least informed.

I had a terrible long tiring painful day today, and I was so looking forward to go home tgt since morning.
But too bad. It nv happen.
All u have to say is 'i didnt bring my ezlink card. just give me 10 minutes to get one.'
But instead u said 'if you dont wanna wait, u can just go home.'

So I just go home.
I know it's not ur fault that such bad things happen.
What really overwhelmed me is the huge disappointment and exhaustion.
I am sick of having such high hopes and get them dashed.

You can be late for 2hrs with ur frens.
But I am sorry to say not even 2 seconds late for me.
Forgive me if I am like this.
But so sorry again I cant change my perspective.

SILVER MEDAL!

Yesh!! Singapore finally got one medal after a big gap of 48years!

I am so proud of our woman table tennis team!!

Well done to the 3 players!! Li Jiawei, Wang Yuegu, Feng Tianwei!!

Finally I got to see the red-white Singapore flag being raised in Olympics!!

I wonder if there will be any public holiday given because of this silver medal? =P

And my timetable is finalised!

Change my bf307 to wed slot; I think it's much more easier to breathe without that many 3rd years around u.

So yup, still 3-day wk~ ^^

This week is such a hectic and irregular wk!! So from tml onwards, everything will be back to normal!!

Peace

Oo world peace is nice~ LOL. I am laming.

Yup! Finally I dont feel that disturbed about my school.

Dont know why once school starts, I will go into my 'uptight' mode. XD

Met baober for dinner ytd at IMM. Fufufu~

So long nv have a meal with baober liao. Yay~ =)

I feel so much better just pouring out my sorrows to baober. A big hug for my baober!! *huggles*

As for today, BF307 class. Prof Tan proves to be really very good. Lots of 3rd years. But I guess I can make do with it. ^^

After class, I went to meet mugendai to get tezuka plush!! YAY!! XD

Actually supposed to meet baober then collect the plush and we can go home together.

But he was held up by recruit express. Stupid RE! Hmpt!! =X

So I had to go and meet the seller myself. Promised her I wont be late. =(

Haix. But it's ok! I can get to see baober another day! *huggles*

Fated.

I dreamt of more numbers last night. =(

I must resign to fate. I can never run away from BF307.

It's ok. It's my decision to add it in the 1st place. No use crying over split milk.

Yup, I must be optimistic! Looking on the bright side, I will be clearing both my core modules!!

And it isnt bad without BF215 since I am taking both concurrently!!

I will just mug hard for it!!

Yup, I cannot be depressed over it! Yes! Depression only makes my life hard.

So I must not be depressed.

I MUST LOVE BF307!! ^^

"To BF307, I will love you lots and lots, so in return you must also love me and give me an A for this course!"

Nightmare

Yes. When I say nightmare, I really do have nightmares about it.

I was rather happy to go to BF307 class initially. Those typical 高高兴兴上学去 pattern.

However, after Prof Low Buen Sin said some stuff, I totally switched off and demoralised.

He seems really reluctant to teach 2nd years in his class. And keep emphasizing the point that he cant trust 2nd years to do well in class.

For instance: "How 2nd years are still here? Odear. This is BF307. THREE zero seven. It is obviously a 3rd year module. I shall not tune it down to 2nd year level since it is not fair to the 3rd years."

Or something like: "I will assume that you guys know all about stocks and interest rates. So I wont not go into details like the U-curve (wtf is this?) for them.I will just assume you will know them by now."

And this: "BF215 should be the pre-requiste of BF307. But it was too late to state in the system now, maybe we shall reinforce this rule next sem."

After hearing that, me and cassie are really quite upset and demoralised. =(

So we just left the class during break i.e 2pm. Then we headed to FAL and try to do add-drop.

HOWEVER, all finance modules are full!! BF212, BF214, BF218 all full!! RAWR!!

Both of us are terribly upset. And we even tried looking at next sem cores: AB213 and AB 214. Still no vacancies available..

We were super devastated. =(

Even on my way home, I asked caijie to help me keep a lookout. And the monday class was shifted to the friday class in case there is any AB214 monday slots.

When I reached home, I literally camped in front of the comp. F5 F5 F5. Still no vacancies.

So, I just swap my BF221 wed slot with a senior to a monday slot. At least make my monday a useful day. =)

At night, I was talking to Prof.Lee. He was really nice to comfort me that that Prof.Low is just trying to be nasty to make students drop the modules. And that BF307 isnt going to be that bad without BF215 basis.

Prof.Lee even recommended me to switch to Prof.Tan's (00450) since there arent any vacancies in other modules.

Oh well, since there isnt any vacancies left, I might as well do with it. Haix.

And when I was in bed, I really couldnt sleep. I even dreamt of numbers everywhere!! 00451.. 00455.. 00450.. @,@

The worst is the numbers are vacancies for the slots NOT of my choice. OMG HORRIBLE DREAMS. =(

Yea, So I woke up fairly early this morning though it's just a 1030 class later.

Haix. Hopefully things will be better in the day. =)

End of Week 1

"Whao! That's fast!", I exclaimed.

I thought harder, "Well.. actually I've only been to school on Mon and Wed."

"OMG. I got 4 days to slack until next Mon! Amazing!"

LOL. I am being lame. XDD

But I will spend 4 days to draw up my financial plan!! From age 20 until retirement. Calculate the amount of $$ I need by then.

I kinda speculated I will need more than 1million $$ to survive given the inflation and probable bleak economic outlook. ^^;;

And I was feeling boring, then I went to take more photos of my Puchi Nendoroids!!

Baober gave me one more konata!! He din even open the plastic and display it. T__T

OMG. Today school reopens. And it's half year anniversary with my baober!! OMG.

6 months nya!! It's like ytd only. Hehe~ =P

Yes, I am back from KL! Quite fun with my cousin! ^^

I dint buy alot of stuff. Yet I ate alot. Worst, I gained 1kg! ==

Well the only good thing is I gained ONLY 1kg this holidays. And I looked seriously overeating.

I MUST DIET!

Anw, tml school starting. Officially sophomore.

That signals the end of my 3month holidays.

I am sure going to miss waking up late and playing comp watching movies all day long until pass midnight.

Well, time to prepare for the new semester!!

这个学期要继续努力！！加油！！ =)
